Everything You
Wanted to Know about the Episcopal/Anglican Tradition
(But Were Afraid to
Ask!)
Anglicanism
contains both Protestant and Catholic elements. Many find it a
refuge from abusive sects and cults. Others find it to be a church that
welcomes all and encourages a variety of thought, while still retaining
unity in essentials to Christian belief. However, like any faith
tradition, people are often confused about its history, worship,
doctrines and other matters and find explainations from members
helpful. That's why I've decided to do this unofficial FAQ.
The questions answered here mainly have
to do with the Episcopal Church in the United States.

My latest article concerned the current goings on in the
Anglican Communion that have morphed from disagreements over sexuality
to a debate over authority. In it, I've tried to be as unbiased as
possible while giving an overview for those who aren't sure about
what's been going on aside from news reports. Sometimes a perspective
from a layperson's view helps.
